Description
Bring some sturdy shoes for this all day adventure as we dive into the sciences. We start off with a guided tour of an active, open-pit copper mine and find out how copper is produced. After the open pit, we dig a little deeper underground for an exciting tour of one of the few dry cave systems in the world at Colossal Cave. Our education continues as we turn our heads to the sky for a thrilling show at the Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium. With one of the largest collections of minerals on display, alongside all of the other exhibits, there is something for everyone to enjoy at this hands-on museum.
